Overview

The University of Iowa offers a dynamic and well-structured child and adolescent psychiatry training program that allows for a wide array of experiences with substantial depth, including DBT-based inpatient treatment and individual, group and family psychotherapy training. We offer stimulating and novel electives in the second year, with options including college mental health, Young Child Clinic, Autism team, Gender Evaluation Program, PCIT, tele-psychiatry and school based mental health.
