About This Program
Summa Health's Addiction Medicine Fellowship is set in Akron, OH with a diverse population of both urban and rural communities w/a wide variety of backgrounds, cultures, and incomes. Akron is the home of AA and Summa celebrates Founder's Day every June to mark our place in the history of recovery. The AM fellowship has an IP detox onsite & is housed with the Psych program in a modern outpatient facility containing IOPs & AM Fellows manage the OP care for addicted pregnant women in THRIVE.
