Ventura County Medical Center Program
About This Program
The fellow functions as a consultant in Addiction Medicine in numerous settings in Ventura County-inpatient detox & consult service, outpatient specialty clinic, Labor & Delivery, NICU, and Emergency Department. The fellow will transform and integrate addiction medicine into the primary care setting -serving as a consultant for more nuanced care of substance use disorders. Upon graduation the fellow will be able to sit for the specialty certification exam in Addiction Medicine through the ABPM.
