About This Program

Kern Medicals Addiction Medicine Fellowship Program's goal is to train physicians to evaluate, manage, and treat patients struggling with addiction. The fellow functions in diverse settings- inpatient, outpatient, carceral, opioid treatment program, shelter and street medicine, serving a high-need population. Exposure to a wide variety of addictions and use disorders; from alcohol, substances to behavioral. All ages ranges, including adolescents.
