About This Program
The Alaska Addiction Medicine Fellowship (AAMF) aims to enhance addiction treatment capacity in Alaska. This ACGME-accredited, one-year program offers advanced training for physicians who have completed residency. Fellows develop expertise in diagnosing and treating substance use disorders, with an emphasis on social justice and health equity. They educate peers, patients, and communities about addiction while fostering partnerships to address population health needs. Graduates are well prepared
