The Alaska Addiction Medicine Fellowship (AAMF) aims to enhance addiction treatment capacity in Alaska This ACGME accredited one year program offers advanced training for physicians post residency Fellows become skilled in diagnosing and treating substance use disorders with a focus on social justice They educate peers, patients, and communities about addiction, fostering partnerships to address population needs Graduates are prepared for the board exam and ready to excel as addiction specialist
