About This Program

Preventive Medicine at Texas DSHS: Training within a state health department offers a unique, hands-on public health experience. Rotations include data analysis and epidemiology, health systems management, quality improvement, and clinical work in HIV prevention, TB treatment, lifestyle medicine, chronic disease prevention, and occupational medicine.
