University of New Mexico School of Medicine Program
About This Program
UNM offers a variety of experiences with community partners and NM Department of Health. Residents complete an MPH degree to complement clinical practice or prepare them for public health careers. All receive solid training in general preventive medicine, with ample opportunity to focus on occupational and addiction medicine. Flexible learning plans allow exploration of interests in other specialty areas. Residents engage with diverse populations of NM and contribute positively to the community.
