Overview

The department provides comprehensive SCI rehab at VCU Health, Sheltering Arms Institute, and CVHCS. We aim to enhance quality of life through advanced rehab services. As one of 14 federally designated SCI Model Systems Centers-and one of only four with dual SCI/TBI designation-we offer world-class care. CVHCS hosts one of the nation's largest SCI&D units, serving over 2,400 veterans.
