Overview

UAB's SCI Fellows undergo training across acute, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Rotations are designed to give varied exposure with rotations at UAB, Children's of Alabama, and even unique opportunities at Lakeshore Foundation, an Olympic/Paralympic Training site, learning about fitness and recreation programs for individuals with disabilities. Fellows gain skills across the continuum of care such as exposure to wound care, urology, wheelchair seating, radiology, and spasticity management.
