The breadth of diseases seen reflects our location with proximity to the Mexican border and international travelers from the world over. Other participating sites are Miller Children's Hospital, Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and L.A. County Dept. of Public Health with infectious disease, allergy/immunology, STD and TB rotations. Clinical research opportunities are tailored to the fellow's interests, often including existing and/or ad hoc hospital-wide and off-site collaborations as needed.
