About This Program
In addition to endoscopy and colonoscopy experience, our fellows are also trained to perform specialized procedures such as percutaneous endoscopy gastrostomy (PEG) tube placement, gastrojejunal (GJ) tube placement, rectal suction biopsies, liver biopsies, and capsule endoscopies. We also have a simulation lab to practice specialized endoscopic procedures. Iowa City boasts excellent schools and offers many opportunities to engage in our friendly, vibrant, and diverse community.
