The mission of the Division of Newborn Medicine is the provision of the highest quality of regionalized neonatal intensive care, teaching, research, outreach and public health. We seek to train the next generation of clinical and academic leaders in perinatal medicine on a platform that emphasizes a spirit of inquiry through use of basic science and clinical research strategies. Our broader philosophy is that perinatal medicine is a tool to improve public health.
