About This Program

The mission of the University of Iowa Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship is to train a group of diverse fellows to be future leaders in neonatology. We provide the unique environment of training at a large level IV NICU in the setting of a Midwest college town. Despite being in a small town, we draw a diverse patient population from across the state and beyond. We are internationally recognized as leaders in the care of periviable premature infants and neonatal hemodynamics.
