Georgetown is a fellow-led, academic, Level IV, maternal and neonatal regional referral center NICU that provides high-quality, hands-on, evidence-based care to critically ill newborns through its high-risk inborn service (providing coordinated care from prenatal consultation through discharge), fellow-led air and ground neonatal transport service, and treatment of neonates with a wide array of medical and/or surgical diagnoses.
