There are two tracks to launch faculty careers in either the clinician-educator or clinician-investigator tracks utilized at most universities. The clinical-educator track includes courses in adult learning, teaching skills, media in medical education, curriculum development, and feedback. The clinician-investigator track requires completion of the requirements for the Master's in clinical and translational science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
