About This Program
We have limited our fellowship size, despite our robust surgical volume and large patient population, to allow for individualization of each fellows' training. Our division is comprised of 21 cardiologists, a psychologist, and 5 cardiothoracic surgeons. Our fellows have ~1 night float block per month. This is a 12-hour shift, running Tuesday-Saturday or Wednesday-Saturday. This allows us to maximize education and experience, while minimizing fatigue and burn-out.
