University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Program
About This Program
Program incorporates a night float model to enhance fellow education, allowing for continuity of care on nights and increased number of research weeks free of clinical duties to focus on scholarly work. Fellows care for patients of all subspecialties in the PICU - e.g., trauma, ECMO, renal replacement therapy and solid organ transplant (kidney, liver). Fellows have robust cardiac ICU experience caring for patients with complex single or biventricular physiology, VAD, ECMO, and heart transplant.
