Overview

The pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) is a multidisciplinary unit that provides care for infants, children, and adolescents who become critically ill or injured. The PCCM fellowship training program seeks to innovate in educational and training strategies to recruit and train future leaders in the field. Graduates of the program go on to become leaders within the field in clinical, educational, research, and patient safety/quality improvement endeavors in a variety of practice settings.
