Boston Children's Hospital/Boston Medical Center Program
About This Program
The Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit is 54-bed unit providing care for critically ill infants and children across the full range of medical and surgical conditions, including Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation. In addition to clinical experience, fellows have a protected educational curriculum with weekly applied pathophysiology lectures paired with simulation-based learning, ultrasound practice, and procedural skills training. Fellows receive training and mentorship in research.
