About This Program
We are an ACGME accredited, nationally recognized training program with a strong record of developing leaders in the field of pediatric critical care. Stead Family Children's Hospital is the major referral center for a population of more than 3 million people, offering our fellows the full spectrum of pediatric critical care. The only comprehensive health care center in Iowa offering the full range of Pediatric Critical Care (ECMO, VAD, CRRT). Our 28-bed unit is the state Level 1 Trauma Center.
