About This Program
The San Juan City Hospital Pediatric Residency Program trains residents over three years with progressively increasing responsibility, preparing them to be competent general pediatricians capable of comprehensive, coordinated care. It develops subspecialty familiarity, ethical professionalism, and patient safety standards. The program fosters critical thinking, scientific appraisal, self-evaluation, and lifelong learning, while equipping residents to advocate for children's and families' health
