With broad geographical coverage in central North Carolina, NC OCME offers superb case variety, covering urban and rural areas in a 4-season climate. Ample homicide exposure, with all fellow cases selected to provide the maximum educational benefit. Fellows treated as junior colleagues. Caseload and year structure are customized to a fellow's individual needs and learning to produce a well-rounded, highly skilled professional fully capable of practicing forensic pathology independently.
