Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University Program
About This Program
The Wayne County ME Office has partnered with Detroit Medical Center and Wayne State University to offer two fellowships. Fellows are capped at 250 cases including complex and previously undiagnosed natural deaths, drug overdoses at the forefront of emerging drug trends, and traumatic deaths including homicides of every type. Fellows testify in court, rotate in crime scene investigation, odontology, anthropology, toxicology, radiology, and criminalistics, and have ample teaching opportunities.
