Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner Department Program
About This Program
The Fellowship year begins with weeks of orientation and didactic lectures. Additional training is provided throughout the year, including three opportunities to travel within Florida to attend workshops focusing on anthropology, ballistics, odontology, and other forensic-pathology related topics. Fellows will also receive techniques to prepare for courtroom testimony. At the completion of the year, the Fellow should have the necessary skills and logic to solve forensic cases independently.
