University of Vermont Medical Center Program
About This Program
Our program encompasses a blend of academic and practical training in the setting of a university medica center with a large geographic referral area. The center receives a full range of specimen types available for cytology diagnosis in conjunction with ongoing exposure to surgical pathology. We process around 6,200 non-gynecologic specimens, of which 2,400 are fine needle aspirations, and over 21,000 gynecologic samples.
