Overview
Duke offers a one-year ACGME accredited fellowship with extensive training in FNA and exfoliative cytology. Experience in laboratory management, QI, and teaching is included. Participation in national scientific meetings and clinical research projects is encouraged and supported. The division of cytopathology accessions over 24,000 gynecologic cytology cases and 5000 non-gynecologic cases, 3300 fine needle aspiration biopsies performed by our service.
