Overview
The cytopathology laboratory evaluates approximately 23,000 Pap smears and 12,000 non-gynecologic specimens including 2300 fine needle aspirations (FNAs) per year. The program offers a large volume of diverse cases from in-house specimens and our consultative service, an emphasis in performing both palpation- and ultrasound-guided fine needle aspirations.
