About This Program
This fellowship provides one full year of advanced training in diagnostic cytology and the performance of FNAs in an FNA clinic. The cytology lab evaluates approximately 10,000 pap tests and 3500 non-gynecologic specimens and 2500 FNAs per year. The fellow will be expected to: perform of superficial FNAs including US-guided FNAs, perform rapid on-site assessment of FNAs, participate in daily cytology signing out, teach residents, and complete at least one research project.
