About This Program

University of Texas, Houston, Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine fellows train at the heart of the Texas Medical Center (TMC). Fellows rotate across multiple institutions, gaining exposure to diverse practice settings and patient populations for a broad understanding of transfusion medicine. The monthly citywide transfusion medicine conference, in which fellows actively participate, is a good example of collaborative work among blood bank communities at the TMC.
