University of Texas Houston Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine fellows train at the heart of the Texas Medical Center (TMC). Fellows rotate across multiple institutions with exposure to diverse practice settings and patient populations for a broad exposure to transfusion medicine. Monthly city-wide transfusion medicine conference which fellows actively participate is a good example of blood bank community collaborative work at the TMC.
