About This Program

The University of Kansas Health System is a National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center that serves a diverse and complex patient population. Each year, approximately 4,200 bone marrow biopsies, 600 lymph node biopsies, and 6,800 flow cytometry specimens are evaluated in our hospital-based, state-of-the-art laboratory. - Fellows actively participate in interdepartmental multidisciplinary tumor conferences, teach pathology residents and medical students, and conduct a research project.
