Our hybrid surgical pathology signout system has subspecialization for hematopathology, neuropathology, GI pathology, eye pathology, and dermatopathology, the rest is general signout. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of Boone & Callaway Counties is in our department and provides over 500 autopsy cases/year in addition to our hospital autopsies. We have a nearly 100% Board pass rate for first-time takers and an excellent record of graduates getting into fellowships.
