Overview

Penn State is the only tertiary care hospital in central PA. We serve a wide variety of patient populations, including both urban and rural underserved. Residents work primarily at a single academic campus with a large adult and freestanding children's hospital. Our graduates have a tradition of obtaining top notch fellowships and pursuing academic and private practice careers. Beyond the excellent clinical training, residents have great research support and present and publish extensively.
