In Columbus, GA and in orthopaedics, Dr. Jack C. Hughston, is a well-known pioneer in the field of sports medicine. In 1951, his association began working with Auburn Tiger's Football coach Ralph "Shug" Jordan and thus a career in Sports Medicine was born. Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program strives to develop each resident into a compassionate physician and an excellent orthopaedic surgeon.
