We're a robust, busy program affiliated with a Level 1 trauma hospital as well as the Children's Hospital and local VA. Residents get a well-rounded education with great surgical exposure, and lots of autonomy in their PGY4 year full-time at the VA. With our research faculty and labs located right in the same building as our clinical practice there is also easy access to basic science and clinical research for those residents who enjoy that aspect of their medical career.
