West Virginia University Program
About This Program
Or program is a 3-year PGY2 thru PGY4 program that partners with a transitional year program in a joint fashion which provides the PGY1 experience. Ophthalmology is required to train residents for all 4 years at the same institution, either in this joint fashion or as a full 4-year program. We provide experience at the main institution, a nearby VA hospital, and limited experience with a local private practice and outreach clinics across the state.
