ECU Health Medical Center Program
About This Program
Residents will train at a level 1 trauma center that serves a large rural population and is a tertiary referral center for eye care. The hospital clinic is across the street from the main hospital and sees a wide breadth of pathology. Residents see their own patients in resident clinic. Residents will have the opportunity to rotate to community clinics and experience rural practice. Dedicated ophthalmic hospitalists oversee the hospital consult service 24/7.
