The University of Florida ophthalmology residency program provides the best clinical ophthalmology residency experience in the nation. Our residents are very experienced and graduate at the top 1% of the nation in cataract surgery numbers. Our research division solves important clinical problems including creating viral vectors and studying diabetic retinopathy.
