Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center Program
About This Program
There are three general types of residency programs - academic, community-based, and military. Our program is unique in that it provides all the resources and benefits of an academic program but allows exposure to both community-based practice and military-based practice (VA). Graduates of the program are prepared to pursue any subspecialty fellowship, a career as an academic generalist, or private practice.
