SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University Program
About This Program
As the only pediatric neurology residency program in Brooklyn, NY, we provide care to children with neurologic problems from Brooklyn and surrounding areas. Our location and multicultural patient population allows us to see a wide variety of conditions. We have very busy outpatient clinics (general and specialty). Our particular strengths are pediatric epilepsy and neuromuscular disorders. Teaching , 1:1 mentorship and research (monthly research meetings) are very important in our program.
