University of Alabama Hospital (Birmingham) Program
About This Program
Applicants interested in applying for the UAB child neurology residency DO NOT need to apply to UAB pediatrics residency as two years of pediatrics training are included in the 5-year child neurology residency. The Child Neurology Residency Program accepts 2 categorical applicants (through NRMP Match) per academic year. UAB offers vast clinic exposure for bread and butter cases and rare diseases. Faculty mentorship is encouraged for PGY 1-5 from general child neurologists and subspecialists.
