About This Program
Residents are part of the Resident & Fellow Physician Union-Northwest (RFPU-NW) and have resources such as the Safe Ride Home program, free confidential counseling, childcare funds, meal allowance, education and travel funds, and competitive salaries. Trainees receive an allowance in the sum of $8500, intended to offset the cost of living in Seattle. The allowance is included in the total compensation schedule which is paid out in each paycheck throughout the academic year.
