Overview

Our program is the longest running transplant program in Virginia. We do about 30 transplant per year. We have MCS with LVAD (HeartMate and HeartWare) and TAH (both Syncardia and Carmat). We have a very active shock team with wide use of temporary mechanical support with IABP, Impella and ECMO.
