About This Program
The university of Michigan is a large referral center for patients with acute and chronic liver failure. We have a large, well established GI fellowship training program and have had 2 Transplant Hepatology Fellowship training slots available for the past 15 years. Over 50% of our graduates take a role in an academic center and many have gone on to leadership positions as the Medical Director of Liver Transplantation, AASLD/ AST leadership roles, or become independently funded researchers.
