The goal of the program is to train tomorrow's leaders in academic Hepatology who will become faculty at medical schools throughout the country. The fellowship year is ACGME accredited and will qualify candidates for advanced UNOS certification in Liver Transplantation. It also offers thorough exposure to both outpatient and inpatient management of a wide variety of acute and chronic liver diseases.
