West Virginia University Program
About This Program
Our primary training hospital has the resources of a major academic center yet feels like a small college town. West Virginia ranks #1 for per capita tobacco use, so our trainees learn how to diagnose COPD and lung cancer particularly well. Our division has a strong interest in improving healthcare disparities. Many people come to WVU to train, and end up falling in love with our state: from the beautiful 4 seasons of outdoor activity to the neighborly spirit of our patient population.
