We educate fellows to care for patients from diverse backgrounds and underserved populations understanding the need to address both medical and social needs which aligns with the mission of the institution, which is to provide the best possible care to the residents of Long Island, particularly to its most vulnerable patients, and to offer the best possible education to the nation's next generation of medical professionals.
