The LSU ID fellowship program offers robust clinical experience and research opportunities in the fields of HIV/AIDS, opportunistic infections, viral hepatitis, tuberculosis, STI's, transplant infections, general infectious diseases, emerging pathogens, infections in travelers/immigrants, infection control, and antimicrobial stewardship. Clinical learning is supplemented by a comprehensive didactic series. Fellows participate in CQI, individual research, and other scholarly endeavors regularly.
