Overview

Trainees have opportunity to observe/manage patients across spectrum of endocrine disease and are an integral part of the inpatient multidisciplinary cardiovascular surgery and cardiac and renal transplant teams. They develop skills using an onsite DXA machine, thyroid US machine and various continuous glucose monitoring systems. Training is two progressively advancing levels of competency-based objectives aiming to build medical knowledge, technical skills and competencies.
